Busy Business

Hi Readers!

I'm sorry for not posting anything recently.  The past few weeks have been very hectic and busy.  I have had a ton of work to do, and so have Baxter, Butler, Buddy, Berrington, and Droplet.  We apologize sincerely.

Now, you may be wondering what we were all up to.  Keep reading to find out!

(Click "Read More" below)

Butler has been furiously practicing piano.
(He hopes to win the Stuffed Animal Piano Competition)

Droplet has been trying on new, funky hats.

Berrington has been reading good books.

Buddy has been...well, just being Buddy.

And Baxter has been studying for tests and quizzes.

As you can see, life at Julia Talk is busy, busy, busy!  We hope that the week ahead will be less stressful and rushed.

But before you go...

Check out this great book! :)
Berrington recommends it.

Thanks for reading,
Julia & Friends

    1. Hi Cornelius!

Haven't talked to you in a while now. Good to hear from you again! :)

Do you like Truman's Aunt Farm too? It's Berrington's favorite picture book.

    1. Thanks Olivia,

Your comments are always so sweet to read. Butler is still practicing at this late hour! I hope the neighbors won't mind...

P.S. Butler is thankful for the support.

Droplet: That's such a cute hat! Hope you find one that is the right fit. I think purple hats look absolutely wonderful on you :)

Buddy: I love the way you are, keep staying yourself! :D
Baxter: You are such a wonderful student. I'm sure you get A+'s in all of your classes :)

  5. Long time no see! I was seriously starting to wonder if all of the Julia Talk gang was getting sick with the flu or something. I'm glad to see their all well. Please transfer these messages to everybody:

Baxter: I hope you can win the stuffed animal piano competition. What songs do you like?

Droplet: Such a cute hat! Did you make it?

Berrington: I like reading too. Both hard books and picture books. Have fun reading, and I will try to look for that book!

    Buddy: Seems pretty easygoing.

Baxter: I hope you can ace all your tests!

To all: It's good to work hard and pursue what you like, but be sure to take some rests and fun times so you don't collapse.

P.S. To Julia: You too Julia. If possible, come to this blog more often so we can see that you're ok. (HAHA) But don't get sick from all this business!

    1. Haha, no we do NOT have the flu. Don't you worry.

Also, I think you made a mistake. You wrote, "Baxter: I hope you can win the stuffed animal piano competition. What songs do you like?" I think you meant Butler. It doesn't matter because I still know what you mean.

I got the replies from everyone. Here they are:

Butler: I like songs written by Chopin the best.

Droplet: Yup! :) Bought the supplies and made it all by myself!

Berrington: Reading is one of my favorite things to do!

      Buddy: Arf!

Baxter: I think I passed, well I hope so...

    2. Tawnie,

Wow was I relieved when I saw your name! My friend Tawnie is still here! :D Phew. I love that picture the most too! I took a second look at it and these are some things I noticed:

Butler: Wow, I can tell you have been FURIOUSLY practicing because you memorized your pieces already; you're not looking at the music! :) Memorizing is a great skill to have, and I can tell that you have aced it already! :D When is your competition going to be, and who are you competing against?

Julia: Your new piano looks great!!! It's beautiful, and the piano keys are the perfect size for Butler's hooves. ;)

      Love,
      Your friend Townie

    6. Julia,

Yes I do! I made it one day when I went to visit my moose friend in the forest. I cut down a couple of trees and made my piano :D

  7. Sweet Butler,

Here is a little tip for your piano playing:
That's a wonderful choice! I love Chopin too. Remember to always feel the music and let it touch your heart, and always do your best to move the audience. If you do that, then I'm sure you will definitely win the Stuffed Animal Piano Competition! Good luck!

It does seem like the Julia Talk gang is busy....... I think it's better to be busy than bored. Where I live and go to school, nothing interesting happens, so this blog I found is the only thing that brightens up my day. So thank you, and remember, better to be busy than bored.
