My fave museum was Exhibit C: Recycled Art! I care about the environment a lot, so that was perfect for me.
ReplyDeleteTawn.
Tawn,
ReplyDeleteOh cool! I care about the environment as well, so that's why recycled art is one of my favorites. I think it's so cool to make art out of materials like bottle caps, cans, juice pouches, etc...
~Julia
Hey Julia,
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I love many things. And art is one of them! <3 I can't choose a favorite exhibit because I think all of them are so lovely. I can't wait for the next museum coming out...when?
<3 Meli
Hi Meli,
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that we share a similar interest in art! :)
I'm not sure when the next museum will be released, but keep looking for it.
~Julia
Hey Julia,
ReplyDeleteI love art, especially drawing with you! :D
It's so cool how you can make art in so many different ways!
How do you make art with coffee? Wouldn't the picture like... not stay in place? Lol
<3 Jasmine
Hi Julia,
ReplyDeleteI love art because it is a way where you can express who you really are. I like drawing animated characters and animals. When I was in 3rd grade, I got taught by a teacher on techniques do enhance my drawing skills.
I liked mainly everything, especially the recycled art section and the coffe art. If there really was a museum with all those stuff in it, I would love to visit it!
Tawnie,
ReplyDeleteIt was so fun to go picnickin' in the woods with you! Let's go again sometime. This time, let's bring a basket made of bottle caps to collect berries in. I love recycled art too, it's so environmentally friendly!
Love,
Townie
Dear Jasmine,
ReplyDeleteI like drawing little towns and buildings with you!
The coffee art is made by cream I think. There is probably videos on youtube that show people making coffee art. Check them out sometime.
~Julia
Nina,
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool that you got lessons from your teacher. I guess that's why you are so good at drawing characters and anime.
Same here. Maybe there is a place with these kinds of art? Eh, probably not.
~Julia
Townie,
ReplyDeleteI know! Picnicking was such a blast! Start collecting bottle caps so we can make the bag. Can't wait!
Tawn.
Julia, I liked the coffee art and fruits section. There's a lot of cafe's in Japan that specialize in coffee art, so I hope we can go together one day! Fruits, I made with my friends rabbit apples, but I guess that's kind of common. It would've been cooler if you actually made them yourself or together though. The recycled stuff was great too. Your orange bag is recycled materials too!
ReplyDeleteI'm Angel. Just found your blog today. It's so cute! I would be sure to comment everyday from now on. All these pictures are so cute, but I love pictures and images of angels and fairies and cute imaginary creatures, so would love it if you post those. Also like lacey stuff, ribbons, stuffed animals....... What about you?
ReplyDeleteDear Miyu,
ReplyDeleteReally? I never knew that about Japan! That just makes me want to go there even more! Grrr...
~Julia
Dear Angel,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blog! Glad you found it. Thank you for the suggestion, I will think about it. I LOVE those things too! Nice to meet you.
I think that I will call you Ange for short.
~Julia
Julia,
ReplyDeleteI know it's made of cream but... wouldn't the cream move around??? Haha
<3 Jasmine
Tawnie-hon,
ReplyDeleteYes! Let's keep a daily log of how many bottle caps we collect!
Love,
Townie

Jasmine,
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm very sorry but I do not specialize in making coffee art. In fact I do not have the slightest idea how this is done. If you are super duper interested in making it then look it up on Youtube, or if enough people want to see it then I will maybe post a video on my blog.
Julia
Townie,
ReplyDeleteOk! When shall we make our bottle cap baggie? I want to picnicking already. I'm running low on my berry supply so we need to hurry!
<3 Tawn
Dear Shandee,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Julia Talk! The Julia Talk Gang is glad to have you as a new commenter and viewer. Also, thank you very much for your reasons why you like my blog. :) Thanks for commenting!
~Julia
My dear Tawnie,
ReplyDeleteI will soon leave my small town in Michigan for your forest home in Ohio. I will probably get there by next weekend, so keep collecting those bottle caps! When I get there, let's start making the baggie. It will be so much fun, and those berries will be tasty! I just hope that a big mean bear won't try to steal them from us again!
Love,
Townie
Dear Julia,
ReplyDeleteOooh! Nice art! I especially like the one with food!
<3 Anna
The Julia Talk Gang is so chaotic..... It is fun.
ReplyDeleteTownie,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait! Oh, I have an idea: Let's make jam after we collect all the berries!
Tawn
Dear Anna,
ReplyDelete:) Thanks. I guess you like food just like Nina?
Julia
Ange,
ReplyDeleteYup! ;) Not much we can do about that.
~Julia
Tawnie,
ReplyDeleteWow, that would be great! I can't wait to make jam with you! What types of berries should we collect and what flavors should we make???
Love,
Townie
Townie,
ReplyDeleteLet's collect all types of berries so we can combine them all together and make a new flavor! Mmmm. I can't wait to taste it!
Tawnie
Julia, It is true that we are constantly surrounded by art...all we have to do is keep our eyes open and as you say, even the smallest things can be delightful works of art... I too, love recycled art, and I am going to try and send a photo of a huge piece that we saw at the Seattle Museum of Art... this website takes a really long time to download anything, so we'll see... love your whimisical flower look!
ReplyDeleteJulia, there was no way that I could post the photo. It was a figure of a man... very, very large, made entirely of recycled wine bottles...
ReplyDeleteDear Aunty Sylvia,
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that you couldn't post the picture! I was hoping to see it, but it's ok. I don't think it's possible to post pictures in the comment section. Thank you for the compliment and I hope to hear from you again!
Julia
